My Valley Pass - The San Fernando Valley’s number one visitor’s guide presented - a sold out - Halloween event - Trunk or Treat - at the Westfield Fashion Square in Sherman Oaks. We are a nonprofit organization of member volunteers focusing on children, families and youth initiatives. Schools, hospitals, government, other nonprofits, corporations and foundations have benefited by collaborating with our club. Our motto: Serving the Children of the World
Our Kiwanis Club supported our Kiwanis Family Key Clubs by providing a Pizza Lunch and attending their Division Council Meeting.
Congratulations to our Kiwanis Partner, Petit Bizoo - Art Studio for their Sold Out Creepy Crafts Halloween Party for 5 to 10 year olds. It was An amazingly successful launch to the start of Halloween festivities. And thank you to everyone who came and participated in our event or even came by to say “hi” or paint a pumpkin. The Kiwanis Club of Literacy in Southern California donated books for the children and our friends at Smile Specialists donated toothbrushes to accompany all the candy. Music by Rosemary Clooney. The Kiwanis Club of Encino enables our youth and adult leaders to serve our greater Encino communities through its Service Leadership Programs.
Kiwanis Service Leadership Programs are leadership and character-building programs hosted in a school or community agency and sponsored by our Kiwanis club.
Service Leadership Programs have existed since the first Key Club was founded in 1925. Since then, millions of students have been inspired to lead lives of service and significance through programs for all ages.
The greater Encino community is full of people who want to help. We work to help the people providing services with the people who need them. Come connect with people in new ways. We are a member of the Encino Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber is a Corporate member of our club.
